Spicy Seafood Pasta

Ingredients – 8 – 10 Servings 

• 2 lbs. of linguine 

• 2 lbs. of gulf shrimp 

• ½ lb. of calamari 

• 3 (28 oz) cans of plum tomato 

• 10 cloves of garlic 

• 8 fresh basil leaves 

• 1 cup of olive oil 

• 1 tsp. of calabrese peppers 

• 2-3 tsp of salt 

• ½ tsp. of black pepper

  Instructions: 

1. In a 6–8-quart pot on medium-high heat, add ¼ cup of olive oil and 6 cloves of chopped garlic. 

2. Once the garlic is translucent, add the shrimp and cook for about 1-2 minutes before adding the calamari.  Continue cooking for another minute or two. 

3. Remove seafood from pot and then add ½ cup and olive, 4 cloves of chopped garlic, calabrese pepper and fresh basil. 

4. Once the garlic is a light golden brown as the crushed plum tomato, 2-3 tsp. of salt and ½ tsp. of black pepper. 

5. Once the sauce comes to a simmer, continue cooking for 20 minutes. 

6. Begin cooking Linguine al dente – per package instructions. 

7. Once sauce been simmering for 20 minutes add the seafood back into the pot and continue cooking for 10 minutes. 

8. Once pasta is cooked, drain and then add some of the sauce – mix well. 

9. Plate and Enjoy!
